WEEK 1 · ESTABLISHMENT
PHASE: EARLY SEASON
SET START DATE:

The strongest Last Z Season 2 opening is to start on Support Mastery, prioritise Frostbanes, and invest seasonal resources into the Smart Greenhouse and BioLab. Reach BioLab Level 26 with Support Mastery to fight max-level Frostbanes, and only switch to Military Mastery after BioLab Level 28.

For recurring events, contest Arctic Ice Pits with your alliance, prioritise Elk and Mammoth during Frozen Rescue, and stop at 15 Frostbane kills while Core Proliferation is active. The live mission briefing below adjusts these priorities according to your current season day.

      01
      // PRIORITY 1

      BioLab

      Your primary building. Virus Resistance determines which NPCs you can kill. Level 26 + Support Mastery unlocks max-level Frostbanes.

      • Level 26 = max Frostbane with Support Mastery
      • Level 28 = safe to switch to Combat Mastery
      • Use Ice Bloom + Frost Cores to upgrade
      ⚠ Wartime Investment ×4 ($40) before any major upgrade - resources compound from Day 1.
      02
      // PRIORITY 1

      Smart Greenhouse

      Produces Ice Bloom passively. The higher the level, the more Ice Bloom per hour. This fuels every other seasonal building upgrade.

      • Upgrade with Frost Cores first
      • Focus here alongside BioLab only
      • Ignore other buildings until resources flow freely
      03
      // LATER SEASON

      Core Proliferation

      Unlocks mid-season. Grants double Frost Cores and Ice Blooms from kills, but rewards cap at 15 kills instead of 30. Same yield, half the attempts.

      • When active: kill 15 highest NPCs, not 30
      • Saves time and fuel significantly
      • Don't waste extra attempts - they give nothing
      FROSTBANE
      // "BOOMER"
      30×Daily cap
      ★★★Reward tier
      HIGHPriority
      Primary target. Grants Snowflakes, Frost Cores, and resources. Use rallies if you can't solo at high levels. Always fill attempts here before touching Snow Leopards. Wait for BioLab upgrade to complete before spending attempts if it finishes that same day.
      Shared 30-attempt pool with Snow Leopards - prioritise Frostbanes.
      SNOW LEOPARD
      // "ZOMBIE"
      30×Shared cap
      ★★Reward tier
      LOWPriority
      Same attempt pool as Frostbanes but only half the rewards. Only kill Snow Leopards after exhausting all Frostbane attempts. Useful for Snowflakes to craft Snowballs (100 Snowflakes = 1 Snowball) for the Snowman Mania event.
      HUNTER YETI
      // LVL 1-200
      Daily kills
      Sunday kills
      MEDPriority
      Grants Snowballs, BP, and resources. Virus resistance doesn't matter - rally with main marches. Target levels 180-200. Avoid Yetis below 100% HP (someone else is farming it). Set rallies to 10-30 minutes to fill marches at higher levels. Cancel a rally at it to redirect its target if you're being chased.
      GLACIER KONG
      // LVL 310-350
      RANDSpawn
      ★★★Reward tier
      HIGHLast blow
      Stronger than Yetis. Includes a state mission - whole state gets rewards. Killing blow grants the best rewards. Spawn 3 simultaneous rallies to race for the kill. Coordinate with alliance leadership for high-level Kongs.
      FURYLORD
      // BOSS
      BOSSType
      ★★★Reward tier
      HIGHPriority
      Works the same as in Season 1. Appears periodically. Treat like a high-value alliance rally target. Coordinate with leadership when he spawns.
      TUNDRA TITAN
      // ICE PIT BOSS
      3×/WKContests
      ★★★Pit reward
      CRITAlliance goal
      Contest on Mon / Wed / Fri at 11AM APO. Alliance with most damage wins the Pit - all attackers get full rewards even if you lose. Use War Frenzy, President buff, Rose ATK/DEF. Heal troops in batches. 1-hour port window, then fish from anywhere.
      // PHASE 1
      Architect's Insight
      +30% Building EXP
      First unlock. Essential for building upgrades to compound faster.
      // PHASE 2
      Ice Bloom Output
      +15% Ice Bloom/hr
      More passive production = faster upgrades.
      // CORE: STAY HERE
      Building Support + Frost Core Refinement
      +15% boost · +15% cores
      Injury Relief (+50%), Shield Bond (1hr alliance shield), Resistance Boost (+5), Swift Rally (+10% march speed), Eco Recovery (+10% build speed).
      // BIOLAB 28+
      Military Mastery
      Combat Value
      Switch ONLY when BioLab hits 28. Before that you lose too much resistance from Support Mastery.
      // ENDGAME
      Vault Master
      Final unlock
      Final mastery goal. Continue building around your alliance role once reached.
      ⚠ CRITICAL: Do NOT switch to Military/Combat Mastery before BioLab Level 28. You will lose Resistance and be unable to kill max-level Frostbanes. That's a major resource setback.
      // SCHEDULE

      Contest Windows

      Pit contests are timed events. Plan alliance attendance around these windows.

      • Monday 11AM APO: Level 1 Pits ×6
      • Wednesday 11AM APO: Level 2 Pits ×3
      • Friday 11AM APO: Level 3 Pit ×1
      • Each contest lasts up to 1 hour
      • Week 1: your server only. Week 2+: cross-server
      // TACTICS

      Winning the Pit

      The alliance that does the most damage to the Tundra Titan wins ownership. All attackers get rewards regardless.

      • Port HQ to Pit area to fight - red zone, expect attacks
      • Use frozen area (25-30s march) if you don't want to be looted
      • Use War Frenzy + President buff + Rose ATK/DEF
      • Heal troops in batches - injuries will happen
      • After 1-hour window: fish from any server's pits
      // OWNERSHIP PERKS

      Pit Rewards

      Owning a pit gives significant long-term advantages. Fight for it even if you lose the first week.

      • Higher rare fish chance when fishing your own pit
      • Weekly diamond envelope (shared with alliance)
      • Own 3 pits = 3 envelopes - coordinate between Presidents
      • Presidents can agree to swap pits to avoid constant battling
      🦊

      Useful but lower immediate badge value. Farm when Elks are unavailable.
      🦌
      ELK

      Consistent diamond income. Worth farming if Elks are exhausted or rewards are capped.
      🦣
      MAMMOTH
      UNIVERSAL EQUIP. FRAGMENTS
      High strategic value. Second priority after Elk. Share coordinates with alliance when spotted.
      // Fishing Mechanics
      COMMON HOOK (PURPLE)
      1 min per hook · 5 fish per use. Stack multiple hooks to multiply time and fish simultaneously.
      MASTER HOOK (GOLD)
      Higher tier rewards, better rare fish odds. Use for priority catches in your own pit.
      FISHING BUCKET
      Instant fish - no timer. Use strategically for completing index sets quickly.
      INDEX COMPLETION
      Must click fish → Activate to claim rewards. Grants Badges, Frags, and the Zazz Snowman decoration.

      What should I do on Day 1 of Last Z Season 2 Everfrost Era?
      +

      Buy all 4 Wartime Investment passes back-to-back ($40 total) first - this is your highest priority. Then set your Mastery to Support Mastery immediately. Start killing the highest-level Frostbanes and Snow Leopards you can handle, up to 30 per day. Use all Frost Cores earned to begin upgrading your Smart Greenhouse. Do not upgrade any buildings other than BioLab and Greenhouse this week.

      What is the best building order in Last Z Everfrost Era?
      +

      Focus exclusively on BioLab and Smart Greenhouse for the first two weeks. Kill Frostbanes and Snow Leopards to earn Frost Cores. Use Frost Cores to upgrade your Greenhouse (increases Ice Bloom per hour). Use Ice Bloom and Frost Cores together to level your BioLab. Ignore all other seasonal buildings until your resource loop is self-sustaining and resources are flowing freely.

      What BioLab level do I need to kill max-level Frostbanes in Last Z?
      +

      BioLab Level 26 combined with Support Mastery gives you enough Virus Resistance to defeat the highest-level Frostbanes. Stay on Support Mastery until BioLab Level 28 - switching to Military Mastery before Level 28 causes you to lose Virus Resistance and locks you out of max-level NPCs.

      Should I kill Snow Leopards or Frostbanes first in Last Z?
      +

      Always prioritise Frostbanes. Both Frostbanes and Snow Leopards share the same daily attempt pool of 30 kills, but Snow Leopards only give half the rewards. Kill all your Frostbane attempts first, then use any remaining attempts on Snow Leopards.

      How does the Arctic Ice Pit work in Last Z Season 2?
      +

      Contests for Level 1, 2, and 3 pits open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11AM APO, each lasting up to 1 hour. Your alliance defeats the Tundra Titan boss - the alliance dealing the most damage wins ownership. Every player who attacks earns full rewards regardless of outcome. Owning a pit grants better rare fish chances and a weekly diamond envelope. After Week 1, cross-server groups can participate and fish in each other's pits.

      What animals should I rescue in Last Z Frozen Rescue?
      +

      Prioritise Elk - they grant 300 Badges per rescue. With 10 attempts per day over 3 days that is 9,000 Badges per week. Second priority is Mammoth for Universal Equipment Fragments. Boar grant Diamonds and Fox grant Orange Skill Books. Always share coordinates in alliance chat to speed up unfreezing via co-op scouting.

      What is Core Proliferation in Last Z?
      +

      Core Proliferation is a mid-season event that doubles Frost Cores and Ice Blooms from NPC kills. The daily reward cap drops from 30 to 15 kills. The total yield stays the same but you only need half the attempts - saving fuel and time. When active, stop at 15 Frostbane kills per day. Additional attempts beyond 15 give zero rewards.

      How does the Last Z hero swap work?
      +

      The hero swap transfers hero levels and skill levels between two heroes using a Level Swapper Token. It does not transfer fragment-upgraded stars. Star up the hero before swapping to maximise Skill Book recovery - if the receiving hero has a lower skill cap, excess books are refunded automatically. On AvA Hero Days, star up and apply Skill Books before swapping to earn AvA points and recover the books at the same time.
