Stream Roll is a content discovery and aggregation platform operated by an individual known as Bumfluffski, based in the Republic of South Africa (“we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Stream Roll. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
Stream Roll is available to users 13 years of age or older, in line with Twitch’s minimum age requirements.
By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that you have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Account Access and Authentication
Stream Roll uses Twitch OAuth for authentication.
We do not provide or manage email/password accounts.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your Twitch account.
We are not liable for any unauthorised access arising from compromised third-party credentials.
4. Platform Function and Neutrality
Stream Roll functions solely as a content aggregation and discovery platform.
We do not host, upload, store, or transmit video content.
All video content is embedded from Twitch.tv using publicly available APIs.
Stream Roll does not create, control, endorse, or verify streamer content.
All content remains the responsibility of the originating streamer and Twitch.
Your interaction with embedded content is governed by Twitch’s own terms and policies.
5. Moderation and Platform Control
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:
Skip, remove, or exclude any stream from rotation.
Restrict access to features.
Suspend or terminate user access.
These actions may be taken with or without notice and without obligation to provide reasons.
6. Virtual Economy (SSP and XP)
6.1 Nature of Virtual Goods
Stream Roll includes the following virtual systems: Stream Support Points (SSP) and Experience Points (XP).
These are virtual licences, not property.
SSP and XP have no real-world monetary value.
They are not currency, securities, digital assets, or financial instruments.
They cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, traded, or exchanged.
They cannot be redeemed for cash or monetary equivalents.
6.2 Acquisition
SSP may be earned through platform activity or acquired through voluntary donations via third-party services (e.g. Buy Me A Coffee).
XP may be earned through platform activity only and cannot be purchased.
All donations are final and non-refundable.
6.3 Licence, Not Ownership
SSP and XP grant a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access certain platform features. We reserve the right to:
Modify earning rates.
Adjust balances.
Reset or revoke SSP and XP.
Remove or discontinue virtual features.
No compensation is owed for any such action.
7. Patreon and Third-Party Support Benefits
Some users may receive increased earning rates based on external third-party memberships (such as Patreon), verified via Discord role integration.
Stream Roll does not process Patreon payments.
Increased earning rates are recognition-based benefits, not purchases.
These benefits do not guarantee exposure, selection, income, or outcomes.
All such benefits are discretionary and may be modified or revoked at any time.
8. Brand and Streamer Introductions
Stream Roll may provide tools allowing brands to view streamer profiles, allocate indicative budgets, or request non-binding quotes.
Stream Roll is not an agent, broker, or representative.
Quote requests are invitations only, not contracts.
No obligation arises unless parties enter into a separate written agreement.
Stream Roll is not a party to any resulting agreement.
All commercial risk remains between the brand and the streamer.
9. Prize Pools, Promotions, and Competitions
Stream Roll may run promotions, giveaways, competitions, or prize draws funded by platform revenue.
No purchase or donation is required to participate.
Donations do not increase chances of winning.
SSP and XP do not function as entries or tickets.
Prizes are promotional and discretionary.
We reserve the right to modify, substitute, or cancel promotions at any time.
10. No Gambling or Games of Chance
Stream Roll does not offer gambling, betting, lotteries, or games of chance. Platform mechanics are engagement-based and do not constitute regulated gambling activities under South African law.
11. No Employment or Partnership
Use of Stream Roll does not create employment relationships, partnerships, joint ventures, or agency relationships. All users and streamers act independently.
12. Service Availability
Stream Roll is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, uptime, performance, or reliability. We are not liable for downtime, interruptions, or data loss.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bumfluffski from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:
Your use of the platform.
Your interaction with third-party content.
Your breach of these Terms.
Your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the preceding 12 months (if any).
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. South African courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
